Every so often, a session comes along that feels like more than just photography—it feels like alignment. Like purpose. That’s exactly what it felt like to photograph Dr. Erin Kinney and her incredible team at The Kinney Clinic in Annapolis, Maryland.

Dr. Kinney is a renowned naturopathic doctor, speaker, podcast host, and founder of The Kinney Clinic, where she helps patients navigate chronic stress, hormonal imbalances, and adrenal fatigue through a truly holistic lens. Her approach to healing is as rooted in science as it is in intuition—and that balance is exactly what draws people to her.

For me, this session was personal. I’ve been on a long journey with my own reproductive and gut health. It’s been years of advocating for myself, asking deeper questions, and learning to listen to my body in a new way. Dr. Kinney’s work is something I’ve admired for a long time, and I even spent time with her as a patient years ago, so having the chance to collaborate with her and witness her team in action was truly a dream.

From the moment I stepped into their clinic, I felt the calm, grounded energy that defines their work. There’s something powerful about being in a space where whole-person healing is the norm. Where patients are seen, heard, and treated as more than a diagnosis.

During our session, I aimed to capture just that—the genuine warmth between team members, the focus and presence that comes with doing meaningful work, and the quiet strength in their mission. Whether it was a candid laugh in between takes or a still moment of craniosacral work, these images tell the story of a team that’s deeply committed to healing from the inside out.

This session will stay with me for a long time—not just because of the beautiful photos we created, but because of the deep respect I have for Dr. Kinney and the kind of care she brings to the world.
